Two operators, nine casinos
Two operators run Saskatchewan's nine permanent casinos. The Saskatchewan Gaming Corporation, or SaskGaming, runs Casinos Regina and Moose Jaw as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lotteries and Gaming Saskatchewan (LGS). SIGA, the Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority, runs seven. Five are in Lloydminster, North Battleford, Prince Albert, Swift Current and Yorkton. Two are on White Bear First Nation near Carlyle and Whitecap Dakota First Nation south of Saskatoon.
LGS oversees all lotteries and gaming and manages the slot machines in both operators' casinos. The regulator is the Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (SLGA).
SaskGaming's two send 50% of net profits to the General Revenue Fund. The First Nations Trust and Community Initiatives Fund get 25% each. SIGA's seven send 50% to the First Nations Trust and 25% each to Community Development Corporations and the General Revenue Fund. SIGA puts it this way: "As a First-Nations, non-profit organization, SIGA reinvests all net proceeds back into Saskatchewan." More on the Two operators page.
Late nights, plainly
Saskatchewan stays on Central Standard Time all year, with no clock change. Casino Regina is open 24 hours on Fridays and Saturdays. Dakota Dunes stays open from Thursday 9am through to Monday 4am. Northern Lights runs 24 hours from Thursday to Saturday.
Bear Claw closes at midnight, every day. Tables can keep shorter hours than the floor: at Gold Eagle, blackjack runs Thursday to Sunday only. Casino Regina's own pages give different Sunday hours, so a Sunday visit starts with a call to 1-800-555-3189. Holiday hours should be checked on each venue's own site. The Last lights page goes casino by casino.

Nineteen at the door
The legal gambling age in Saskatchewan is 19. At Casinos Regina and Moose Jaw, ID is compulsory, and government-issued ID may be requested at any time. At SIGA casinos, anyone under 19 is a prohibited individual, and their winnings are withheld under SIGA's Disentitlement of Winnings policy.
Northern Lights has required a SIGA Rewards card at entry since February 15, 2024. Every guest hands the card to Security at the Guest Registration Kiosk, and guests without one get a card at the desk. SIGA Rewards is one card across all seven SIGA casinos. Casinos Regina and Moose Jaw share a single Players Club instead.
What is legal online
PlayNow.com, operated by SIGA, is the only legal online gaming platform in Saskatchewan. It launched on November 3, 2022, for players aged 19 and older. On August 31, 2026, the province and FSIN extended SIGA's online gaming exclusivity to September 2029. In the province's words, PlayNow has kept growing in profitability "despite heavy competition from illegal platforms".
Casinos Regina and Moose Jaw offer gaming only at their physical locations, with no mobile app and no online gaming. They warn that falsified social media ads for online platforms using their names are a scam.
This guide's home page carries paid links, marked Ad, to a private online casino. That casino is not run or licensed by the province of Saskatchewan and is not connected with any Saskatchewan casino or gaming body. The site earns a commission on those links, and the partner can change. The Online in Saskatchewan page covers the rules in full.
