The card at the door
Since February 15, 2024, Northern Lights Casino has required a SIGA Rewards card at entry. Every guest hands the card to Security, who register it at the Guest Registration Kiosk. Guests without a card get one at the desk first.
SIGA Rewards is one card for all seven SIGA casinos, with four tiers: Emerald, Gold, Platinum and Diamond. The age rule matters too. Anyone under 19 is a prohibited individual at SIGA casinos, and their winnings are withheld under SIGA's Disentitlement of Winnings policy, in place since June 30, 2016.

Hours and tables
Northern Lights Casino is open Sunday to Wednesday from 9am to 4am. From Thursday to Saturday it stays open 24 hours. All times are local Saskatchewan time: Central Standard Time, UTC-6, all year, with no clock change. Holiday hours should be checked on the casino's own site.
Live tables run 6pm to 2am every day. Poker keeps its own schedule: Monday to Friday 5pm to 2am, Saturday and Sunday 3pm to 2am. The games include Blackjack, Texas Hold'em and Crazy 4 Poker. A call to the casino before a long prairie trip does no harm.
Address, history and works
The casino is at 44 Marquis Road, Prince Albert, SK S6V 7Y5, with plenty of free parking. Prince Albert is the city it calls "The Gateway to the North". The phone number is 306-764-4777.
Northern Lights officially opened in March 1996. SIGA's list of its casinos pairs it with Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation. An expansion announced on August 28, 2024 adds 31,000 square feet in three phases over about two years.
In a straight line, the nearest other casino is Dakota Dunes, 157.1 km away. That figure runs between map points and is not a driving distance.
